Sourcing your product is one of the crucial aspects in the success of your online business. Sourcing means that you must define who is going to provide you the product you need to distribute it, and even though there are several options, basically two of them are a boom today: Drop Shipping and Affiliate Marketing.

The selection of one of these two models depends on the availability and engagement willingness you have with your online business. The drop shipping model is one where you will have the opportunity to contact a supplier and he will take charge of shipping the product to the customer charging you a special price per unit, but you will take charge of the invoicing process, the customer service, the publicity and all of the other aspects related with the business. On the other hand, the affiliate marketing model is a model where you act as an advertiser for a specific company using your website and you receive a commission for each sale performed, the manufacturer takes charge of all the administrative processes because you only lead the customer to its website.
